The
Hennepin church building will celebrate its Sesquicentennial
in September of 2009!
In
honor of this special occasion, we are constructing for
publication a cookbook consisting of member's favorite dishes,
breads, salads, desserts, and appetizers and those of their
families past and present! We need your help! We need not
only your recipes, but the story that goes with each one.
It needs't be a novel, just a sentence telling of its importance
to you will do. For example, all you need give us is, "Auntie
Hazel made this for us for every family gathering,"
"Mom used to bake this for my birthday," "We
called this dish 'John Wayne' because we couldn't think
of anything else to name it!"
Let's
have some fun with this and produce an unforgettable book
to honor all that God has done for us over the last 150-plus
years!
